Neil was elected to the Board in October 2015 and is the Board Chairman. Neil holds an Associate Diploma in Land Valuation, Certificate in Real Estate Management and a Certificate in Settlement Agency Practice.
He is a licensed Real Estate Agent and was involved in real estate companies in the South West. Neil is a past shire Councillor, and was previously a director of the Collie Community Bank. He is currently Chairman of the Augusta Community Bank. He is also a previous board member of regional Developments of Australia (Southwest) and the Professionals Group of WA. Neil is Married with 4 children and runs a mixed farm near Collie.
Ian moved to Collie in 1979 and opened a smash repair business which become one of the leading repair facilities in the state employing 15 staff. Ian retired in October 2016 and lives in Mumballup with his partner Carolynne. Ian also has 3 children and 7 Grandchildren. Ian was approached to join the board in October 2015 and thought it was a great opportunity to give something back to Collie. He felt good Aged Care was crucial to the community and felt their could be no better way to give back to the Collie Community.
David is currently CEO at the Shire of Collie a role which he has been in for three years.
He has a background in Accounting and Finance and has a Bachelor of Business Degree and a Post Graduate Certificate in Administration, both from Edith Cowan University. He also has a Diploma in Project Management and has undertaken project management duties in the past, most notably he oversaw the redevelopment of the Collie Mineworkers Memorial Swimming Pool in 2015 at a cost of $2.8m. He has also been responsible for much of the development of the Collie CBD.
He has lived in Collie for the past seven years, is married with two kids and is actively involved in golf, veterans football and motorcycling.
David was elected to the Board at the 2017 AGM.
Dr. Peter Wutchak has been on the Riverview Residence Collie (Inc) board since 2014. His is currently working as a procedural GP and has been living in Collie since 1999. Over the past 2 decades his interest in the community has gradually increased partially due to his role as a practice owner and Senior Doctor at Collie District Hospital. His work has allowed him to have an overview of man of the health aspects of the Community. It was seeing firsthand the difficulty for older members of the community that encouraged him to join the board. Away from work he is a sporting tragic, limited skill but great enthusiasm and follows his respective sporting interests with passion. He is also a family man at heart with a loving wife, Tanya and Three wonderful children
Jodie is currently a senior customer specialist with Bankwest Collie where she has worked for the past 32 years mostly in a home lending capacity. Jodie has lived in Collie all her life & is married to Brad who works locally at Premier Coal. Travelling the world & photography are some of her key interests along with playing golf & with tennis and spending time with friends. Jodie was officially elected to the board in 2018 after stepping up to fill the position left vacant after the passing of her father Late Board Member Ken Burgess in 2017
Colleen moved to Collie in 1987 after marrying a local boy and have two children. Colleen has previously worked for an accountant in Bunbury, then worked as a bookkeeper for Peter Reuben’s Newsagency. After the birth of her first child she retired from work full time and took up bookkeeping for small businesses in Collie. Colleen has a keen interest in sport and after many years on committees for Basketball and Netball in Collie was awarded life memberships for both. Colleen is the current treasurer of the Collie Community Bank and has served on the board for over 5 years in various roles and is the treasurer of the Collie Italian Club and committee member of the Collie Cycle Club. She still plays sport in Collie and own and operates a hair dressing business in Collie for over 29 years.
Lesley Lives in Collie and has a Diploma of Applied Science (Diagnostic Radiography) and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Radiography. Lesley worked as a Radiographer at Global Diagnostics Bunbury for over 11 years from 2002-2013 and from 2010-2013 was the chief Radiographer. Lesley still does casual relief work as a radiographer for WACHS at Collie District Hospital.
In Collie Lesley owned a Coffee Shop and Catering business from 1996-2002.
Lesley has been married to Neil Motion for the last 39 years and has 2 children and 1 grandchild.
Lesley has been Secretary of Fairview School P & C and president of Fairview School P& C. Also Lesley has been the Secretary of Collie Senior High School P& C, a member of Collie High School Board, President of Collie Golf Associates and Member of Collie Eagles Junior Football Club Commitee.
Currently Lesley is the secretary for Collie Golf Club Associates, Catering coordinator Collie Golf club and is a Member of Riverview Residence Board Collie (Inc).
Geoff joined Riverview Residence Collie (Inc) Board in April 2016 as the ValleyView Residents representative. Geoff retired from a senior management role in the Collie Coal Mining Industry in 2015. He is currently involved in Community groups, Namely Collie Rotary Club and Collie Art Gallery. Since mid 2017. Geoff has acted as the Residents representative for the Riverview Independent Living Units.
Geoff’s family has a long history in Collie. His Mother Mavis has been a permanent resident at ValleyView for the past 2 years. Geoff’s wife Theresa is also from Collie and they have been married for 40 years, they have two sons and four Grandchildren. Theresa’s mother was also a resident at ValleyView for 3 years.
