Joy Halleron is a very qualified and credentialed aged care professional with formal qualifications in nursing and experience in managing aged care facilities. Joy emigrated from Scotland in OCt 2005 with a Bachelor of Nursing Degree from University of Dundee. Joy came to Australia with Clinical Community Nursing Experience and commenced her Career in Perth as a Clinical Nurse with Silver Chain. A chance opportunity as a Care Manager changed her career pathway and during her 7 years with Brighwater Care Group she developed a passion for positively influencing the lives of people living with Dementia. A full scholarship from the Royal College of Nursing Australia allowed Joy to obtain a Masters Degree in Health Services Management from ECU in 2014. Joy is very happily married to Peter and has a step son, daughter, son, 2 granddaughters and a Spoodle called Hamish.
Tamara has been a passionate Caring individual dedicated truly to the aged care environment for nearly 10 years. Her Care journey began as a personal care assistant and her true desire to make a positive difference flourished when she successfully completed her Bachelor Degree in Nursing from Edith Cowan University. Tamara commenced working at ValleyView Residence in 2017 as a Registered Nurse and was inspired by her ability to influence and enhance good care practices. Tamara was thrilled to take a challenge and lead the Care at Valleyview and continue to make positive dynamic changes that ensure our residents have the best clinical and hands on care possible. Tamara has a vision to ensure we truly ensure we meet our vision, mission and statement of intent and works hand in hand with our Executive Manager to lead this strategy. Tamara lives with her partner and enjoys a active social life and enjoys the company of her family and close friends.
